Why Clothing for Her: Dancer Meets Sports
Kady’s journey from the love of dance to NPA Dancer, all the way to founder of athleisure/athleticwear has been an awesome success story. Kady’s experiences on the courts of the NPA, her travels with the team, and lack of proper athletic attire created a strong passion for developing top quality style sportswear exclusively for the female sports fans and female athletes. Dancers and cheerleaders who represent professional sports teams have struggled to find the proper clothing that moves with the female body, holds up to all the necessities of an active lifestyle, and can go from office to gym to out on the town. Nothing like this has existed until now!
Since founding the company, Kady has moved into designing for the spectators as well as those who looking for a little sophistication for their game day apparel & workout attire. Her experiences on the courts of the NPA and her travels with the team created a passion for representing female sports fans with top-quality style sportswear exclusively for women. Her first customer was the Tampa Buccaneers Cheerleaders in 2014.
Kady began with a small staff of rural seamstresses and shipping out of her garage in Denver. It did not take long for her customer satisfaction to cause her company to grow at such a rapid rate that she partnered with expert factories overseas. Kady’s design abilities have grown to a collection for 75+ NCAA universities, the NBA, NHL, and America’s favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys (according to Kady, of course).
